Ah, Summertime

The weather is beautiful, not at all how summer normally is here. I am hoping (probably in vain) that it will stay nice until I leave for Canada, and when I return maybe a week or two of warm weather and it starts getting cool. Yeah I might be a little too hopeful the unlikely. I am working on a quilt with super bulky yarn. Unfortunately when i purchased it, I did not make sure it was not acrylic. Whoops, I have a tiny allergy as do others in my family. Maybe next time I will think it through and get super bulky wool for the blanket. It seems the amount of yarn I have is going to eat me, or else I am going to wake up in a cocoon one day. I am still trying to decide what to do with my blue/green radiation symbol. (see previous post). choices choices.

Blue/green radiation poisoning

So I finished it, but I think I made what was supposed to be a flower look like a radiation symbol. Despite the radiation look I have a good idea for another project. Lets see things to do
1. Buy white yarn
2. Buy yellow yarn
3. Find time to crochet
4. Post a picture for all two of you to see. (hopefully more, but who could know)

My fingers hurt

So I started a crochet project which was originally going to be a green and blue beanie with stripes from the center (as suggested by Ice) now I have completely changed it. What will it be? well you will have to wait and find out. I will show you my progress though. It looks like a weird pie or pizza to me, but I promise I will finish it so you can see that there is some order in the madness.

oh the thinks you can think....

Seussical the musical is coming. I must say I have been a part of the madness. In the last 24 hours I have stabbed my feet and hands with countless pins and needles, made six orange suede vests (Ice will pay later), designed a shell for Yertle the turtle, and many other small jobs. I even missed church (again, Ice will pay later). The worst was when I would prick myself and say ow! Ice would simply ask if I was bleeding then say dont get it on the carpet or material. RUDE!!! Anyways I am now quite bored and am unsure of what to do with myself as I wait for dinner.
