Catalina

Today we woke pretty early and drove to Newport to catch a boat to Catalina. This was my first voyage. It was more exciting when MGM rented a golf cart for few hours. Perhaps the most scary event (at least when a bus passed by us on a one way road. All in all it was beautiful. After the time on our cart expired we ate and then shopped for a little bit in downtown Avalon. At about 4 it was time to re-board the ship and come back to the mainland. By the time we got back to the hotel Fire and I decided to go down to the beach. That was a good idea up until we felt the water and saw it moving in. So we came back to the hotel and swam in the pool until about 30 minutes ago when we decided to settle into our room and watch A Walk to Remember.
